H and H Oil Recycling was founded in 1986 by brothers Harold, Don, and Calvin Heine. The attitude from the beginning was typical Texas: work hard and take good care of your customers. In 2007 H and H was purchased by Vertex Holdings, LP, a growing environmental recovery and recycling operation with connections to the Cedar Marine Terminal  in Baytown, TX. By merging with Vertex Holdings, LP it allowed H and H to collect and recycle more and more products and to serve the changing public attitudes and desires around conservation and recycling.

Because H and H had built a reputation based on taking care of their customers, Vertex Holdings, LP chose to keep the H and H name and to grow the company. From its start in the Austin area, H and H now serves a large radius around Houston, Baytown, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and the Valley.

Harold retired from the business, but Don and Calvin remain fixtures to the many customers that know and respect them. While H and H is still an old style, hard working, Texas company, the partnership with Vertex has helped us bring our customers state of the art monitoring systems that keep them current on every facet of their used oil and other fluids recycling. Our proprietary truck based accounting system allows you to log into your account at anytime and know when used oils were collected by H and H, when the next scheduled collection is, how much was collected, and even who your driver and/or account representative is. By keeping all manifests online, you know that you don't have to be a paper pusher because we do it for you. If you ever need a specific manifest or all manifests, they are a click away.
